Reminder! Join the FAOA on 25 September at 1830 for a virtual Distinguished Speaker Event with DIA Director, LTG Ashley!
What: Our planned Distinguished Guest and Speaker for the cancelled FAOA Black Tie Dinner, DIA Director LTG Robert Ashley, Jr., has graciously agreed to do a virtual FAOA Distinguished Speaker Event in lieu of the in-person Black Tie Dinner. He will provide remarks, followed by a Q&A session from attendees.
When: Friday, 25 September at 1830 EDT.
Where: Virtually! The DIA Multimedia Team is expertly coordinating the event over Microsoft Teams (MS Teams). You'll be able to view the event from the website or via the app (app is the preferred method and is more user-friendly).
The link will be disseminated a few days prior to the event, both to the FAOA email distro and to our social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook).
Why: This event replaces the 25th Anniversary Black Tie Dinner that was previously scheduled to be in-person at the Army-Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we could not hold the event in person, however, we are all very much looking forward to this virtual event!
